Full Name: Zane Thorne
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Occupation: Student, Professor's Apprentice
Loyalties: To himself and his sister
Avatar: Gabriel Aubry
General Appearance:
Masculine yet elegant, Zane is the beautiful younger brother of Nadine Vogel. He has soft blonde hair, enticing hazel eyes and stands around six feet and two inches tall.
Brief Character History:
Born into a pureblood family, Zane was forced into following tradition and grew up isolated from his parents but because of this, he subsequently developed some sort of attachment disorder, resolving to push others away before they have the chance to do the same with him. He turned into a rather uncaring individual. All that really mattered to him was fulfilling what was required and expected of him as a descendant of the Thorne family.
Nadine, however, is a special case since she is the only one who managed to get close to him. She might just be the only one who he loves dearly.
Zane despises Nikolas for marrying his beloved sister and has a strong aspiration to kill Nikolas Vogel. Zane Thorne is also the apprentice of Nadine's lover, who took advantage of the endless affection that Zane feels for his sister. He poisoned his mind with dark intentions and is main cause of Zane's uncovered hatred for Nikolas.
Personality:
Stoic, aloof and antisocial. People who would open up to him would typically be met with a response asking why he would care. Most see him as selfish and proud. He is difficult to deal with, but greatly respected because of his natural talents.
Always at the top of his class, Zane is an excellent student and wizard but is known to be cold, taciturn and always serious. Zane detests having other people pry into his personal business and vice versa. When it comes to his sister though, he cannot help but.

Zane sat in a velvety chair near the lit fireplace in his parents villa. The grand study was swallowed in darkness and the faint flame luminated only a small section of the room. A turbulent snowstorm brewed outside, its coldness slowly penetrating the rather barricaded house.
Hazel eyes stared straight at the dancing flame. He pictured an image of a man shrieking in pain as the fire pierced his skin, mercilessly eating him. His face was blank, even when sinister ideas crept into his mind. The cruelest scenes of meaningless murders would not move him. He thought of it as a normal occurence and was just the way it is.
Someone knocked on the large door of which intricate designs were engraved. A person knocked for quite some time but Zane remained still, staring at the mesmerizing fire. The door was gently pushed open and a beautiful French maid walked inside. She proceeded to her young master and gracefully curtsied.
"Young master," the lowly servant softly said. "Your parents are waiting for you." She spoke in a polite manner but this was returned with a blank stare from Zane. The young woman was captivated by his blank stare. To her it seemed cold and dark, like they could stab right through you.
Zane did not answer. He stood up and headed for the door. The young maid followed him. "Where are they?" Zane asked in a straight tone.
"They are in the living room, young master." She replied in a gracious manner as she walked four steps behind him.
He stopped as he neared the door. "Get back to your post," Zane told her. "I do not need any assistance. I wish to speak with them alone." He went out the door and walked towards the room to where his parents was.
The maid stood still in the study, her heart beating fast and slow at the same time. She placed her hand on her chest and wondered why it ached.
